Workshop Description

Advanced Presentation Skills

Touching the hearts and minds of the people you interact with is an essential leadership skill. Regardless of the industry you are in, you cannot escape the need to exert social and professional influence. Today`s audiences are more sophisticated than ever before. They will not tolerate a poor speaker. At best they go into a trance and at worst they walk out. What if you could deliver dynamic presentations, captivate your audience and ensure that they become your advocate?

Objectives

This workshop offers you special coaching and guidance on how to design, develop, and deliver successful presentations in a variety of formats.

Designed for

This workshop is for those who want to gain prominence and recognition through masterful presentation skills and powerful public speaking: ministers, managers, salespeople, team leaders, professionals, experienced speakers, trainers, facilitators and other influencers.

What you will learn

By the end of this workshop you will be able to:

  • Make your presentation come alive in such a way that your audience will be talking about it days or weeks later.
  • Present your material in a relaxed, professional way, using very few notes.
  • Determine what the audience needs and wants, and design ways to address these concerns.
  • Avoid confusing techno-speak and make your presentation accessible to key decision makers who may be non-specialists in your field.
  • Use and prepare the visual aids that are appropriate to the situation.
  • Fit the length of your presentation to the time you have been allotted, while also being flexible with last minutes changes.
  • Tailor your presentation to fit the venue and the event, because a professional conference is not the same as a press conference.
  • Develop confidence in using all types of presentation tools.
  • Overcome presentation anxiety.
  • Respond with confidence and clarity to questions and objections from your audience.
  • Employ supplemental material such as stories, jokes, and illustrations to hold your audience’s attention
