How much would having your own professionally certified internal trainers save your organization each week, each month, and each year? What would you gain if your existing trainers were more efficient? How would it affect your revenue if all training programs provided to your staff were well structured using the latest and most innovative methodology and content?

 

Objectives

This workshop lays the foundations for excellence. It demonstrates the importance of ‘Trainer Credibility’ and gives trainers practical ways of doing so quickly and powerfully.  It goes through the various methods and approaches to TNA (Training Needs Analysis).  It offers trainers a clear understanding of the contribution they can make and a multitude of ways in which they can add value and improve productivity. Participants in this workshop learn how to design and deliver effective and sharply focused training sessions. 
 

Designed for

This workshop is designed to help the individual who may be already training based on their personal experience but are not formally trained professional trainers. The focus is on the supervisor, manager or technical / professional expert who has been asked to present or train a group of individuals—a task for which he or she has not been formally trained. 

What you will learn

By the end of this workshop, you will be able to:

• Position and introduce yourself as a credible trainer.

• Understand the psychology of adult learning and the different learning styles.

• Structure workshops to manage and sustain ‘energy’ by using icebreakers, openers, closers, and energizers.

• Write sharply defined training objectives for each session in a workshop.

• Design training sessions that succeed every time by applying the rule of the 3-Ps.

• Present information in a concise, motivational, and engaging manner.

• Embrace the role of the trainer as an Agent of Change.

• Practice in front of the video cameras to improve delivery style, and build confidence.

By the end of this workshop participants understand their role as trainers in depth and take away a practical set of skills that enable them to be valuable contributors within an organization.
